eAGAPAY — AI-Powered Government Program Discovery Platform

Overview

The project addresses a common challenge in accessing government assistance: information about government programs is often distributed across different agencies, websites, platforms, and information channels. Citizens may know that government assistance exists but may not know which program they qualify for, which agency provides it, what requirements are needed, or how to apply. eAGAPAY aims to simplify this process by bringing government program information into a centralized and user-friendly platform. Instead of requiring citizens to manually search through multiple government websites and agency pages, users can provide information about their situation and needs, allowing the platform to identify and recommend potentially relevant government programs. The project was developed around the eGovPH ecosystem and its APIs, taking advantage of government interoperability and authentication capabilities. The official eGov API platform provides APIs for services such as Single Sign-On, identity verification, notifications, AI services, and other government integrations. Important distinction: eAGAPAY is a proposed/project-level application and is not an official government application or replacement for the official eGovPH Super App. It is designed as an additional discovery and assistance layer that can help citizens navigate government programs.
