Overview
A full Roblox game built in Luau with more than 250 scripts, covering bases, zones, boss fights, events and an in-game economy. The world is generated by code when the game starts, and the code is developed in VS Code and synced to Roblox Studio with Rojo.
Problem
Multiplayer games attract cheaters, who can run modified clients and send the server any message they like.
Solution
The game treats every client as untrusted: all money, purchases and rewards are decided and checked on the server.
Architecture
Code is split into server, client and shared modules. Every remote message passes through a central guard before any game logic runs.
